2nd High-Level Conference on Scaling Education Initiatives in Emergencies (EiE) – West Africa (ACCELERATE+)
Associates for Change (AfC) participated in the 2nd High-Level Conference on Scaling Education Initiatives in Emergencies (EiE) – West Africa (ACCELERATE+), held at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, from 29–30 September 2026.
The conference brought together education stakeholders, researchers, policymakers, development partners and practitioners to share research evidence, experiences and innovative approaches to scaling education initiatives in emergencies across West Africa.
The conference provided an important platform for knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration around strengthening education systems and expanding effective education interventions for children and young people affected by emergencies.

2025 Association for the Development of Education in Africa. (ADEA) Triennale on Education and Training
Associates for Change (AfC) participated in the 2025 ADEA Triennale on Education and Training, held in Accra, Ghana, from 29–31 October 2025. The conference brought together education policymakers, researchers, practitioners, development partners and other stakeholders from across Africa to exchange knowledge, share experiences and discuss approaches to strengthening education systems and improving learning outcomes. AfC’s participation provided an opportunity to engage with key education stakeholders, exchange knowledge and experiences, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to discussions on the future of education in Africa.
