Network Improvement and LV Bifurcation Project –MIDA, MCA 2021 The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of Ghana (GoG) through the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) agreed to an extensive power sector development program. The LV Bifurcation and Network Improvement in Dansoman and Kaneshie ECG Districts aimed at improving the quality of power supply in the communities, reducing the losses in the power distribution and enhancing customer satisfaction. MiDA engaged SAL Consult and AfC to identify and assess the project’s impact by developing a Resettlement Action Plan and Community Engagement strategy. Final Evaluation of Enhanced Nutrition and Value Chains Project in Ghana (ENVAC) – Global Affairs Canada, World Food Programme (WFP) (2021) AFC partnered with Institut de Recherche et d’Applications des Méthodes de développement(IRAM) in conducting the final evaluation for the WFP ENVAC Project. The ENVAC Project was based on a market-based approach to tackling nutrition problems in Ghana. The project aimed to include smallholder farmers in value chains to develop nutritious complementary foods while sensitizing the general population, especially women, on the benefits of consuming such foods. The main goals of the ENVAC intervention were to improve nutrition and food security of targeted beneficiaries and improve sales of staples for staples for targeted smallholder farmers, particularly to industrial processors. Ghana Country Team Lead: Mid-Term Evaluation West Africa Governance and Economic Sustainability in Extractive Areas (WAGES) project in Ghana, Burkina Faso and Guinea, World University Services of Canada (WUSC), (February 2020 – October 2020). Associates for Change conducted the Mid-Term evaluation activities of the WAGES project in Ghana, Burkina Faso and Guinea. The Mid-Term Evaluation was a formative evaluation of the project aimed at highlighting what was working well and what needed to be improved for WAGES to make further progress in achieving expected outcomes. More specifically, the mid-term evaluation sought to provide evidence on progress towards achievement of the projects’ expected outcomes, as well as evidence of any unexpected outcomes (including those that contribute to reducing inequalities between women and men as well as better inclusion and engagement of young people).
